It is obvious that conventional approach will not be sufficient anymore for network management due to data centres growth and differentiating technologies (BYOD, virtualization etc.). Especially, cloud information and virtualization technologies which are emerging very fast recently enabled network management integrable with more dynamic and newer structures.

Due to applications operating in distributed architectural structure and diversity of the new-generation devices of the users using these applications, it is essential to conduct network management without necessity for personnel support. Performance management in growing and complicating data centres is another important issue.

What are the most common mistakes that companies do in this field? Could you explain?

More proactive solutions are being produced nowadays in Turkey and all over the world.  Due to rapidly developing product and service ranges, it is mandatory to proceed in network management area simultaneously with this growth.  The companies who still continue to adapt conventional approach in this manner should think about development along with new network management technologies. Security, performance management and control can be listed as fundamental items in network management technologies.  Network management behaviours which  do not cover these aspects will cause failure in product and services.
