As mobile phone usage has been expanding, number of developed and downloaded applications for such phones and tablets has drastically increased. Based on the relevant statistics, it seems that number of application download will be approximately 84 billion in May 2013 for most commonly used operating system.

Since applications are accessible via mobile, number of instantaneous user has been also increasing significantly and this situation results in some problems. For example; new physical sources are needed to meet this increasing demand. (Server, Storage area, Security, Band width, etc.).

Considering Turkey, we notice that both public and private sectors give effort to make their applications that were developed for providing better service and satisfying end-user requests 7×24 basis compliant with mobile platforms since this year. These efforts enable us to access applications and services via wider and mobile environments. On the other hand, as I mentioned before, it causes a great work load for the units providing this service with respect to accessibility and performance.

In conclusion, during project development stage associated with these kinds of services, project quality should be improved. Inherently, in order to do that, solutions enabling load, security and functionality tests should be implemented.

Certain manufacturers have already commenced significant amount of investments related with such solutions during 2011 and first quarter of 2012. We have also completed necessary preparations in order to reflect these investments and solutions to our customers as soon as possible and we are still working on it.
