Greetings, I will explain you in my first article how I have installed Snow Leopard on a system with AMD processor. First of all, of course you need a processor having “Virtualization” support in order to run Vmware (AMD-V). We create a virtual machine having at least 512 MB Ram without Floppy, Series port and parallel port on Vmware.  We select Other in Guest Operating system and Other inversion then we go on.

Select I will install Os later option.

After that, we open our virtual machine by showing “Snow Leopard Client Server 10.6.2 SSE2/SSE3 Intel AMD” iso that we have drawn from leohazard.com website. When you try to boot, probably you will get errors associated with CPU.  To overcome this, while booting Leopard, we push F8 button and write -v cpus=1 busratio=20” then enter.

We select English (or whatever you want) from the screen.

On the appearing screen, select Disk utility from Utilities menu on the upper panel then we create a partition having at least 10 GB.

On Disk utility menu, we switch to partition tab on the right while we are on unpartitioned hdd, then set Volume Scheme as 1 partition, then give a name and apply. Pushing Partition button, we close disk utility.

We say Continue on Welcome screen. We say Agree to license agreement :)  Then a screen comes that we should show our disc. We select disc and continue.

Pushing customize button on the appearing screen then select drivers and updates that we want (do not forget Amd).

Push Done button.

Then click Install and start installation.
